Smile!

O what an Ah-ha! moment to remember it doesn’t cost me anything to smile. Sadness melted away when I smiled and the sunshine beamed on my soul and my spirit was lifted up and I began to soar higher and higher. Elevated now I can see how much attitude is keeping me on this platform with a bird’s eye view the mountains that were humongous in the valley are tiny rocks, the river that was flooding on me have become like a creeping creek. There is a gold mine of strength in a happy countenance, grace, peace and life. A merry heart is the medicine for all times. This is what I have said, but hear what the wisest man that ever lived has to say in proverbs.
Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
At all cost I will have a merry heart, a cheerful countenance, and I will not allow sadness, depression or anything to break my spirit. I will not bear a wounded spirit, like I said I will not be subdued..!

  1. True in all ways, but here is just one: I become a good target to my enemy's aggression when my response is sadness, revenge and aggression but when I am too cheerful to notice even his presence, I am impervious. I enjoy royal immunity.

Dreamers

I feel a surge of power to empower dreams, arouse gifts, harness potential, mold lives and cause a people to march into their destiny. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth in our lives as it is in heaven. I am determined to see you the Dreamer happening. See you Fly and soar high. I believe these few words and questions will be life changing. "Wisdom is the principle thing: therefore; get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding" Proverbs 4:7 I love these words from the wisest man that ever walked on the face of the earth. Solomon got the wisdom even in the things he made mistakes he pulled out wisdom as his guiding map and warned us in so many ways. In this scripture he gives us an open call to step out and get wisdom and understanding. You see wisdom operates in many realm so you can't depend on intellectual smartness because it will fail in the deep ends of life. Therefore, for every dreamer, there is practically no dream that can be accomplished w...

Thanksgiving

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5v18 (King James Version) If the heart is thankful, giving thanks is not hard but if there are seeds of ungratefulness it will be hard for you to give thanks. You may say what is there in my life that I can thank him for, let me say just a few, the fact that you woke up this morning and you still have your breathe that alone is a miracle to thank him for; life is a great gift you can never be able to repay. Thank him that you are in your right mind, in good health, with a place to lay your head etc. You are blessed and if you are thankful you will not be discouraged. Thankful people are always filled with goodness and loaded with benefits. It is a Thanksgiving day, think of all he did for you this year … if you make a list or get out your journal, you will be amazed at his goodness. Your year might have been filled with thorns but I know that even roses do have thorns but when you ge...

A Mother's Monologue

A Mother's Monologue My first monologue was interesting because I was failing to pull the emotion out of it. Well, my professor pushed me until I almost cried, and then I found an intensity that I think will be hard to repeat. I hope you will hear this monologue one day in my many, many, performances. "Ah ah don't mother me. I am not a fool. I can see that the memories of your loss are still green in the veins of your heart, and your emotions are raw with pain and I understand all that but..... What else do you want me to do, except to tell you to look again into the mirror and see your shuttered expectations. My heart is torn by the lines of sadness on your pretty face. of late your frustrations are repelling every good thing trying to come your way. It's either you decide to change or this show is over. Princess I am asking you for the last time to look straight into the mirror. Life is not a bed of roses. If you want something meaningful out this li...
