We are Thankful

In memory of Gradnma I found no words to say but to read back to myself and to you these words from my book Comfort.

We are filled with gratitude,
For the time we enjoyed together,
The love we shared,
The memories we cherish,
Your smiles and encouraging words,
That pushed us into our destiny,
And made us stronger,
O what a precious gift you were;
We could not ask for anything more,
Than you have been to us.
When we think of the adorable you,
That we have loved so dearly,
Our grief and sorrow melts away,
We know you would rather have us smile,
Our hearts are thankful,
And overflow with peace and love,
We have joy and the hope,
That we will meet again.

I walk in victory, I smile and laugh at the roar of sadness My inner person understands I am more than what meets the eye I am this and so much more Love joy and peace have won my heart Thus I am not moved by this thorn in my flesh Because I know I have a future and a hope I will see tomorrow with newness and great expectations My hope shall not be deffered I walk in victory.
