It is nice to tell a story in the voice of a poet. It is short and precise. And I want to think that it helps to eliminate too much butter and sugar. I mean all the sweet nothings that we spend our time on. Have you ever had something happen to you or to a friend in a flash and dramatic way, that all you could do was.... Wow! Ah-ah or Ouch! You just expressed exactly how you felt about it as true as you could represent it. Raw and plain. So is life as it happens in the eyes of a poet.....to be continued....
“An Unexpected Day” I woke up this morning feeling pretty fine, least did I know what my day held. It was a regular routine to the doctor’s office but I ended up in an image tunnel, they called it a CT scan. The diagnosis brought a totally new landscape of my schedule; in short I am scheduled for an immediate surgery. O how life can twist in a moment. When the news was broken in my ears, all I could say was, “I know God has a perfect plan for me, I know he thinks good towards me, I know he has been good to me and with him all things are possible to them that believe”. I lifted up my voice of faith like a mighty shield and began to confess; “It is well with me, it is well, it is well! I will stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” This was the reason my blog was not updated for a while but now I am recovering all is well, all is well.
